The site consisted of 14 apartments.

The structure comprised a mansard roof formed by cranked steel frames supported on loadbearing masonry walls with precast concrete plank upper floor and beam and block ground floors, all supported on traditional trench fill foundations.

Due to site constraints cantileverd reinforced concrete ground beams were used to keep the new foundations away from those of adjacent buildings.
