The Client has an expanding family and needed more space. The Architectural Consultant developed a scheme with the Client to build over the existing single garage and single storey rear extension. An on-going project. Not yet started on site.

As the existing garage was only formed in single skin brickwork on the external wall, we needed to introduce steel beams and masonry piers in order to support the cavity wall construction over. | ||||
| Over the new first floor we suggested roof trusses rather than cut roof to speed up construction. | |||||
